When You start to play League of Legends You will need to play vs Al. and You can't unlock any champions until You don't make some IP or You buy RP. IP is Influence points and RP is Riot Points.
Each time You finish game You will get IP. Until lvl 30 You will get bonus XP and IP. If You want to get RP You will need to buy them. You can see down below how shop looks like.
You will see that You can buy skins for Your champions and some bundles. In menu You can choose Purchase RP , Gifting Center, Featured , Champions , Skins , Ward Skins , Summoner Icons , Runes , Boots , Bundle , Account , Codes and Purchase. You can find Champions from 450 until 6300 IP. In ward skins you can buy skins for Your ward( You can buy ward in game(its free)) . Summoner Icons are Icons You can see on right side from button Play. You need to buy Runes but i recommend that You buy Runes after lvl 30. You can buy boots for Your account: IP and XP boots.
There are items that You need to buy in game , that items will buff Your champions.
There are 6 categories for items: Basic, Advanced, Legendary , Mythical, Consumable and Trinkets.
There are 3 categories for skins: Limited Availability, Legendary and Ultimate.
You can see Your account status if You click icon right to Shop, You can see Match History , Profile , Leagues , Champions, Runes , Masteries(Every time You level up , You get one masteries), Spells and Item sets.
League are devided in: Bronze , Silver , Gold , Platinum , Diamond and Challenger. Each league is devided in Divisions. There are 5 divisions in each league, when You get to Division You play 5 games for new League , and if you get to 100 points in 2,3,4 and 5 diviosion you need to win 2 games out of 3 to get to new division : Example: If You are division 5 and You win 2 games You will go to Division 4, or If you are Silver 1 and win 3 games out of 5 You will go to Gold Division 5.
